"Bring your business elsewhere. I have spoken to Austin multiple times through the two-ish years he’s been my agent about getting my policy lowered because it kept creeping up every 6 months. When I went to him recently my bill jumped almost $100 for the month. I decided to leave State Farm got better coverage for less. I told him to cancel my policy to which his response was let’s work on the numbers to see if he could do better after I asked him for over a year. He wasn’t present for my policy nor did he take the time to make me feel cared about. I wouldn’t recommend State Farm at all. Typically insurance policies are paid for the month following but apparently State Farm does it differently but doesn’t specify that on the statements which is very confusing. I cancelled on my payment date which was the 20th and they said I owed from the 3rd to the 20th. None of it makes any sense and the person I spoke to on the phone actually laughed at me and interrupted me talking to me like I was a toddler. Good Riddance."

Your concerns are important to me, and I appreciate the opportunity to address them. Firstly, I genuinely appreciate your business and the trust you've placed in me as your agent over the past two years. I apologize if it felt like I was not present for you; I was physically out of the office to welcome my newborn son but made it a priority to respond to all emails and calls during that time. Regarding your policy rate, I understand how frustrating it can be when costs increase. I strive to provide my clients with options to help manage their premiums and genuinely wish we could have found a solution that suited your needs better. One big factor in the increase in the rate was due to the fact you changed from a 2017 Jeep Renegade to a 2023 Toyota Corolla. The value of the vehicle plays a big role in your premium, so when you go from an older car to a new car, the insurance tends to increase because of that. As for the billing process, I realize it can be complex. State Farm does allow customers to choose their payment due date, which can sometimes lead to confusion regarding refunds and coverage periods. When you canceled your policy on the 20th, you had coverage from the 3rd to the 20th, which is why a full refund wasn't possible. I regret any misunderstanding this may have caused. I am also sorry to hear about your experience with the customer service representative. That does not reflect the level of professionalism I expect from my team, and I will address this internally. If you have any further questions or if there’s anything more I can do for you, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I would appreciate the chance to assist you further. "These guys are great. They answer the phone when you call no automated messages very happy with the service they have provided for my homeowners for my cars. They have found a way to even give me an umbrella insurance package at basically cost by reducing the price of my overall insurances and tacking on an umbrella for free seem like a win-win. I’ve been very happy with my service would happily recommend"
